"MGM is world renowned in entertainment. They can and will bring here to the city of Springfield, they have that much power and draw," Sarno added.

MGM and Sarno told Western Mass News that there are big plans in the works for opening week and beyond.

Just what are those plans?

"Beth is very good, you know. She's trying to pry information from me," Sarno said.

However, so far, MGM and Sarno will only say, "this is going to be a huge grand opening," Sarno noted. Sarno said the opening week motto will be "Welcome to the show" and the show is right here in the city of Springfield.
