Donna Utakis and her running partner Alex Wirth-Cauchon were out for an evening run Wednesday in the same area where the man allegedly tried to grab the female jogger.

"It's terrible that these things happen and people need to worry about these things," said Wirth-Cauchon.

Police were called to the same area on Sunday prior to the incident for a man who was reportedly running in the middle of the road.

The man was not identified as he was not doing anything wrong, police added the man was reluctant to speak with the officers.

Police describe the suspect as being a 40 to 50 year old white male, 5'10'' tall, weighs 200 pounds, and has a large tattoo on his back looks like an incomplete circle.

The suspect was wearing shorts and boots with no shirt.

"We stay on the side of the road, facing traffic, wear headlamps, lights and all that when it gets darker," Wirth-Cauchon added.

Police said they have interviewed people who live nearby, spoken with neighboring police departments and spent time in the area.
